Sarah received her BS in Psychology in 2004, her Masters in Arts in Teaching in 2013, and her Juris Doctorate in 2008. While in law school she was an American Inn of Court Student Member, Coordinator of the Peer Mentoring Program, International Law Society Member, and a volunteer for the Oregon Law Student’s Public Interest Fund. Currently, she is a volunteer for the Children’s Representation Project of the Multnomah County Circuit Court. Through this program, she has represented children in high-conflict divorce cases. According to Sarah, “As an attorney, I am very passionate about looking out for the best interests of children and helping my clients get through some of the most difficult times in their lives.”
Sarah has worked in multiple areas of law throughout her career; from disability and civil rights to construction and personal injury law. However, Sarah believes that being a family law attorney is one of the most rewarding professions because every day she gets to step into a difficult situation and help her clients through some of their most challenging seasons.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling, downhill skiing, running, reading, baking, and camping. When asked what her perfect Saturday would consist of, she paints the picture of a warm cup of coffee and a book in hand to start the day, followed by time at the beach or river, and closed off with a concert with friends or board games at home with her husband and children.
