Before joining Pacific Cascade Legal, Andrew managed a successful solo practice for more than 15 years, handling a wide range of legal matters across Oregon. His litigation background is extensive, with cases mediated, arbitrated, and tried in courts statewide. One of his most notable victories came in a jury trial, where he secured the full payment for clients who were stabbed by an assailant passenger; despite the attack occurring outside the bus, the jury found the assailant liable after the agency refused all pretrial settlement negotiations.
Andrew has contributed to the legal community in meaningful ways, including serving as President of the Clackamas County Bar Association and as a Judge Pro Tempore in the Clackamas County Circuit Court. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, Oregon, and Washington, as well as the Federal District Court of Oregon and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
His path to law was shaped by a simple but powerful desire: to help people. After discovering a passion for legal problem-solving in his final year of college, he committed to a career where he could advocate for individuals during their most challenging moments. Andrew finds deep purpose in guiding clients through difficult transitions, helping them step back, see their situation clearly, understand how their choices affect outcomes, and ultimately move toward a more stable future. He takes pride in serving not only as an advocate, but also as a counselor—offering the clarity, structure, and resources his clients need to manage life-changing events.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Andrew moved to Oregon in 2006. He’s a proud dad to three children, and to one goldendoodle with an oversized personality. When he’s not practicing law, you’ll likely find him watching his kids’ sports, walking the dog, relaxing at the beach, exploring new restaurants, or studying Portuguese. He loves the walkability and character of Portland’s neighborhoods, the easy access to mountains and coastlines, and the city’s vibrant, offbeat culture.

Things that always brighten his day include his kids’ smiles, a strong cup of coffee, and an Orioles win—fitting for someone who once worked for the Baltimore Orioles in college, giving tours of Camden Yards, selling tickets, and interning in PR (ask him sometime why that job once got him suspended for a week).
Andrew’s career has included work with a small Baltimore firm, the Homeless Persons Representation Project, a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Susan Souder of the Baltimore County Circuit Court, and work with the National Crime Victim Law Institute prior to opening his solo practice. These experiences, combined with his years in Oregon courtrooms, give him a uniquely seasoned perspective on both people and the law.
