Andrew grew up in Longview, Washington, and originally went to school to become a music teacher. It was through this pursuit that he moved to Arizona, where he ultimately found a different calling, rooted in his desire to help people navigate difficult legal landscapes. After graduating with his JD from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Andrew practiced as a public defender for the Cowlitz County Office of Public Defense, before joining Pacific Cascade Legal as a family law attorney. According to Andrew, “the family law system is complicated, and the details of any issue may be embarrassing or frustrating for an individual to navigate. My goal is to ensure that my clients come away from the situation with a clear picture of how progress can be made.”
When he’s not practicing family law, Andrew enjoys exploring creative outlets, such as baking, knitting, and practicing sewing. His perfect day consists of crossing off all items from his to-do list in order to clear his afternoon for relaxation and a date night with his wife. Having been raised in the Pacific Northwest, Andrew appreciates the tell-tale overcast and rainy days of his home state, and the picturesque mountains with evergreen trees that represent the beauty of home. When asked about one thing that brightens his day, Andrew references the moments when he witnesses a lighthearted frame of mind, “There are rightly many things that need to be taken seriously. Knowing when not to be serious is one of them, and I love it when I see someone demonstrate this.”
